The main tasks include evaluating the damage taken, restoration of the stone path and cleaning of campsites and all the trail. After this short closure, the Inca Trail will be open for adventurers from all around the world.

About adventure tours in February

February is part of the rain season in Peru, especially in the Andes mountain region. This season goes mostly from November to March. After the rain falls, some of the dirt roads that include the trails become muddy and the stone paths also become slippery and are less likely to enjoy.

If you have an adventurer spirit we encourage you to change the date of your dream trip. A journey from April to October is the best option for you. Anyways, do not forget to check the spaces left for the Inca Trail in our availability chart.
